About ISO400
Started in
Southampton.
A community for photographers who would rather be out shooting together.
ISO400 was started by Yanny, a photographer in the community around SCUL Collective in Southampton.
Every photowalk starts with the same question: where should we go? The answers live in camera rolls, group chats and the heads of a few people who have walked the same streets for years. The walks and events themselves are just as scattered.
So ISO400 brings it together: photowalks and events to join, communities to belong to, and a map of places pinned by the photographers who found them.
It stays free to use, because it only works when everyone can join in and add to it. Supporters and partners keep it going.

What we believe
Made by photographers,
for photographers.
A few rules we built ISO400 around, and will keep to as it grows.
Free at its heart
The map, places, photowalks and challenges are free. Supporters and partners keep it running.
Your photos stay yours
Every shot on the map carries your name and links back to your profile.
Protect the place
Sensitive spots can be shown only approximately, and we only list places you can reach legally.
Shaped by its users
New features come from what the community asks for, starting with SCUL Collective.
